Why is it that today we are a generation where the word 'stress' is so commonly used? I believe we are fed A LOT of continuous information; so much so that it becomes 'noise'. With a noisy, busy mind what do you think happens...stress!
If we are looking for 'answers', and direction in our lives how can we hear the answers if our minds are already overloaded! We become so accustomed to the noise that some of us find it very difficult to sit in complete silence. When we do, we can hear the million thoughts racing through our minds, this can be extremely overwhelming and scary. Take a deep breath. Slow down. Say to yourself, "it's okay. Everything will always be okay." Because it is and it will! There is nothing to fear- especially not our own thoughts, because you control our own thoughts. No one else can control your thinking unless you let them!
Replace those negative beliefs with new belief that totally SUPPORTS you! You CAN do so. The truth is we ALWAYS have a choice.
Most of us do not spend enough time in our minds, we instead run away from our thoughts, we push them aside and try to avoid them. But why are we pushing them aside? Your mind could be a peaceful place. Again, there is nothing to fear! If you pay attention to your thinking, rather than run away from it, you can take one thought at the time and flip them so that they may be peaceful. You can in this very moment CHANGE your thinking, therefore change your life!
Remember that we absorb like sponges EVERYTHING whether we are aware of it or not. So be selective as to what you surround yourself with, what you listen to, and what you watch.
Life is here FOR you, and can work WITH you, if you choose it to be that way!
