I have a task for you to compete.
Beginning today, and for the rest of the week, I want you to state at least 5 things you are Grateful for in your Life.
Begin right now.
Take a moment, and mentally, verbally or write down 5 things you can be Grateful for.
Come on, it only takes a few seconds.
As you go about your day, try and remember your 5 things, each time mentally saying, "Thank you".
Then, this evening, before you close you eyes for some well deserved rest, state another 5 things that you can be Grateful for.
Then tomorrow, begin again. I want you to do this for one full week. Why? Well, Gratitude is such a powerful tool! I believe it activates the right cells in our bodies, the right emotions and thoughts and creates more positivity in our lives! With Gratitude, we create more things to be Grateful for!
I strongly believe there is a great difference between a person who takes time to be Grateful as apposed to one who doesn't.
Do you think lying in bed, thinking "worry thoughts" and reflecting on the stresses in your Life will help you have a good night rest? Then waking up in the morning and instantly beginning your day with more worry, stress or anxiety will create a peaceful, happy Life?
How does your mental, emotional, physical self get effected?
Okay, now what about taking the few seconds to be Grateful?
Being grateful as you fall asleep, waking up and being grateful again. Do you really believe the two are the same?
For those of you who don't yet realize just how much of a power tool Gratitude truly is, I'm putting you up to the challenge! One week people. One week!
You want change? Well then, it's time to begin doing something different, n'est pas?
