Feed What You Want To Keep Alive!
The more focus we put on something the more we feed it, the more we feed it, the more alive it remains!
This goes for good and bad. This is why we say complaining is not a good thing to practice. This is also why we say positive thinking is a good thing to practice.
Let's put it into a simple example: you wake up and eat a bag of potato chips and a can of coke. For a snack you eat a bag of potato chips and a can of coke, for lunch you eat a bag of potato chips and a can of coke, for your second snack you eat a bag of potato chips and a can of coke and for dinner, yup, that's right! You eat a bag of potato chips and a can of coke! If you eat like this, even after one day I'm sure you will feel and look like shit right?! Now imagine eating this way for 1 full week! 1 entire month!! What about an entire year!!! Wow! Right?! This is not the recipe for a healthy, sexy body! Nor is it the recipe for a healthy mind! It will crush you in too many ways and besides, it will most definitely not taste any good! You will quickly tire of eating this junk and your body will crave nutrients!
It is the same way when we keep feeding our angers, frustrations, fear and limitations over and over again! It does not properly nourish us and it keeps preciously what we don't want alive and present in our lives!
What ever you do want, feed! By thinking about it over and over again, defining it and making it more and more perfect each time! What ever you do not want, do not feed! Release it and move on to the desires you do want to create!
Your continuous thoughts toward something keeps it alive! Remember this the next time you are thinking about that hurtful situation. Remember this the next time you sit around complaining about that thing that happened!
Remember to feed what you want to keep alive!
