Words. We use them everyday. We write them, we think them, we say them, we sing and yell them. One word has the power to anger or hurt a person as well as empower or encourage. Positive affirmations and positive thinking patterns work because we are continually thinking and repeating positive, kind, loving, encouraging words which creates happy emotions and a better reality.
On the contrary, take the word loser (I can think of worse ones but this will have to do for now). If someone were to to say this word to you, or you to yourself, what emotion does it trigger? What about the word stupid or worthless? Your mind processes these words and creates emotions to attach to them so each time you will hear these words your mind and emotions will instantly process thoughts and feelings creating a belief. This belief becomes real for you. What becomes real becomes present in your reality.
Please choose your words wisely, including the ones you use to speak to yourself! Use encouraging words, words that your mind and body react positively to.
Words are very powerful! Use the ones that make you feel good about yourself and your world.
